Life After Sports: What Does It Look Like?
Save the Date:
Join us on Monday, May 20th, 7:00-9:00 PM at the Castle Museum in Saginaw, for the third show of our tour. Prepare for a powerful evening filled with thought-provoking dialogue, compelling stories, and meaningful connections as we tackle the important topic of life after sports.
We'll discuss how athletes are coping, finding new passions, and applying the discipline and resilience from sports to other aspects of life. From mental health support to financial literacy. we will discuss the importance of the support from their community, resources, and self-discovery in their next chapter.

"The topic - Honesty and Transparency - is very broad, but I think we were able to successfully approach it from a variety of perspectives. I enjoyed listening to the other participants interpret those two concepts and share personal insight on being honest with oneself, being transparent with one's motives and living honestly in public and with family.
I felt like I was challenged as a speaker - in a good way - and as a participant. There were a lot of people on the panel, so I wasn't always able to engage on every question, but I didn't leave feeling like didn't have an ample opportunity to voice my thoughts.
I also appreciated the diversity of the panel - many different life experiences and ages were present. I would participate in another discussion or encourage friends to participate. I think Breaking Bread is having a real and positive impact on the Midland community."
