This gathering is an opportunity to reflect on the “after”—life beyond service—and to share what support, connection, and community can truly look like moving forward.
No pressure. No expectations. Just a space to be real, to be heard, and to help shape what comes next—together.
Pizza and drinks will be served.
This is a conversation requested by the Great Lakes Bay Veterans Coalition.

Join us on April 20th from 6:30–7:30 PM for Sister Circle Chat: The Rebirth at Live Oak Coffeehouse (Eastside). This exclusive gathering is intentionally limited to 20 women to preserve the intimacy of the space. Sister Circle Chat is a community offering designed to support women’s emotional and mental well-being through facilitated dialogue and collective reflection.
It is a space created with women in mind — where life experiences can be processed, isolation reduced, and connection strengthened through shared storytelling and support. “The Rebirth” invites us into conversation about the second half of life — the becoming, the shifting, the reimagining of purpose and heart. What is unfolding in you right now? What are you ready to release? What are you ready to step into?
Seats are limited and will fill quickly. Come sip. Come share. Come sit in circle.

We’re inviting the entire community to participate — because something powerful happens when we gather around a table.
Conversations soften. Understanding grows. Connection deepens.
On May 12th, let’s collectively choose to sit, eat, listen, and build community one meal at a time.

Join us for Sharing Our Stories on February 15 at 1 PM as we welcome Trayonna Barnes, mental health therapist, author, and survivor. Trayonna will share her powerful “why,” talk about the books she’s written, and courageously speak about surviving childhood abuse. Her story reflects resilience, healing, and the strength it takes to turn pain into purpose. This conversation will be streamed live on our Facebook and YouTube channels, so you can join us from wherever you are. Come listen. Come learn. Come reflect with us in a space centered on empathy, honesty, and growth.
We gathered for Parts 1 & 2… and now the conversation continues. Join us for a special showing of Balance: The Documentary – Parts 3 & 4 on February 21 from 9:00–11:00 AM at the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library (Community Room). This next installment invites us deeper — into reflection, awareness, and honest conversation. After the screening, we will hold space for open chat, processing, and shared dialogue for those who would like to stay and connect. Because sometimes the most important part isn’t just what we watch… it’s what we unpack together. We will have treats and you can bring your fav lawn chair or blanket.
50 seats available.
